Light and Mud

The Dignified Tree of Life

A long, long time ago, there was Light and there was Mud. They kept each other company and would dream of a world where different creatures could live in harmony together. One day, Light and Mud woke to find that from their words of love, a small creature began to grow in the Field of Dreams. They named her Plant and decided that they loved her no matter what. Light fed Plant and Mud nurtured her. With time and effort, Plant grew and grew into the Dignified Tree of Life. With Light and Mud as her caretakers and teachers, Tree became strong, willful and creative. She used her gifts to create more creatures and gave each intrinsic wisdom and dignity. All plants, animals and humans are descendants from Tree, from Mud and from Light. Each sentient being has a connection to Spirit and the power to create and to express themselves.

Hace mucho, mucho tiempo, existía la Luz y el Barro. Se hacían compañía y soñaban con un mundo donde diferentes criaturas pudieran vivir juntas en armonía. Un día, Luz y Barro despertaron y descubrieron que a partir de sus palabras de amor, una pequeña criatura comenzaba a crecer en el Campo de los Sueños. La llamaron Planta y decidieron que la amaban sin importar nada. Luz alimentó a Planta y Barro la cuidó. Con tiempo y esfuerzo, Planta creció y creció hasta convertirse en el Digno Árbol de la Vida. Con Luz y Barro como sus cuidadores y maestros, Árbol se volvió fuerte, voluntariosa y creativa. Ella usó sus dones para crear más criaturas y les dio a cada una sabiduría y dignidad intrínsecas. Todas las plantas, animales y humanos descienden del Árbol, del Barro y de la Luz. Cada ser sintiente tiene una conexión con Espíritu y el poder de crear y expresarse.
