Light and Mud is a Mexican American art company led by yours truly, Sofía Rosales Juárez—an educator, artist, writer and art therapist.

My mission is to empower the working-class, Mexican immigrant community—especially women—to heal generational trauma and embrace self-worth through art, education, and cultural connection. I create meaningful art and lead transformative workshops to inspire self-awareness, self-love, and mental health advocacy rooted in compassion and presence.
